My goals

GOAL 1: I will score a 10 in Introductions "1. Look at resources on SF for examples of hooks/leads and clear thesis statements (in ""Additional Writing Handouts"" folder)
2. Use writing circle peers to check for an interesting hook
3. Make sure that your thesis statement clearly focuses on one, clear purpose/topic/idea that the entire writing piece is about"

GOAL 2: I will score a 10 in Body Paragraphs "1. Use transitions; look at resources for help w/ A/B transitions
2. Include clear topic sentences
3. Look at SF resources for incorporating text evidence and specific supporting details for the topic
(use at least one quote from a text in each organized essay)"

GOAL 3: I will score a 10 in Compare/contrast
